Rags to Riches Stories
Do rags to riches stories inspire? I, for one think they do. It’s not particularly that a person wants to make millions and gloat on the fact but more for that they want to make the millions as a challenge to themselves and to be in a position to help their family and friends, plus bring work to many who otherwise would not have jobs.
With the recession we are going through at the moment, we are going to need a lot of rags to riches stories in the future to bring back some of the industry that we have lose.
Could anyone create their own rags to riches stories?
I believe they could. We just have to look at all such stories throughout history to know that it is possible for anyone to repeat that success. We all have talents and dreams plus, in the main, the opportunities to fulfill these.
In my own way, I am trying. Mine may not be a from rags to riches story but at least I am following my dream. Many years ago, I used to tell my grandchildren stories. In early 2012, the first two books will be coming out. I can hardly believe it myself. It is going to be a series of twenty six books, yet it originally started off as one or maybe two books. My vision has grown. Will this project make me a fortune? Now that would be very nice but more than anything, I don’t want to be sitting down in my dotage years regretting that I didn’t follow my dream.
What rags to riches stories could you dream up? Everybody has at least one and maybe you have one which will leave an imprint for many years to come. It doesn’t even have to be money. Giving to others in the way of service enables them to aspire to create great businesses in the future.
